Grants Received
The Berry Family Child Care Society has made significant strides in community support, securing various grants that have positively impacted local initiatives.
We received $2500 from the Plant a Seed and See What Grows Foundation, collaborating with Dorothy Lynas to establish a community garden that fosters growth and learning.
In 2023, we obtained another $2500 from the District of North Vancouver to create a snoezelen area which provides soothing and stimulating experiences for individuals with various needs dedicated to sensory regulation, enhancing the experience for our children.
Looking ahead to 2024, we are proud to have secured $1500 in funding to partner with Kindergarten children at Dorothy Lynas to revitalize their planters and introduce a pollinator highway, promoting biodiversity and environmental education.
